About Belcampo Meats

  • Belcampo pork is raised on our own farm in Gazelle, California, near the base of Mt. Shasta. Belcampo Farm’s hogs are a cross between the Ossabaw Island Hog (a heritage breed), Duroc, and Berkshire.
  • Belcampo Hogs are periodically moved to fresh pasture, which helps to maintain healthy land and soil. Pigs at Belcampo eat a special diet consisting of primarily wheat and barley, with different formulations for piglets, growing pigs, and finishing pigs as well as for breeding sows and boars.
  • Belcampo Farm and Belcampo Butchery are certified by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) and are Animal Welfare Approved (AWA). Meat produced at Belcampo Butchery is USDA inspected.

Use And Care

  • Prior to opening- can last 6 weeks in pantry at room temp and indefinitely if refrigerated
  • After opening- will keep in refrigerator for up to 1 week
  • To serve- with a sharp knife make a slit down the center of the salami lengthwise. Carefully peel casing off of salami. Slice thinly and serve at room temperature.
